Diet
Our glider food is home made blended and frozen. The recipe is the following(scoops is tablespoon):
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups of water
- 1.5 cups of honey
- 2 scoops bee pollen
- 4 scoops Wambaroo mix
After frozen you take 2/3 scoops of the frozen mixture as well as 2 scoops of kibble and place in you're gliders bowl. Add half a scoop of yogurt, one vegetable, one fruit and a sprinkle of sugar glider safe calcium. I suggest the following kibble:
Cage
A sugar gliders cage should be cleaned monthly at a minimum. Toys and pouches should be cleaned and switched every few months. Also hamster litter from Petco works for the bottom of the cage and should be changed every 2 weeks.
